The French and Indian War is the reason the British had to tax and make the colonists angry -
The Proclamation of 1763 made it so that the colonists couldn’t go passed the Appalachian Mountains which made them upset. -
The Sugar Act made it so that sugar would be taxed which wasn’t good because they liked sugar with their tea. -
The stamp act made it so they had a tax and to show it was payed they had a stamp on the various goods. -
The Boston massacre occurred when British solders shot and and killed 5 individuals on being Crispus Attucks, a freed slave. -
the Tea Act is a tax which taxed tea(the favorite drink of the colonists) which made them upset. -
The Boston Tea party which is when the sons of liberty got tired of the British taxing them AND NOW THEIR TEA so they dumped all the tea into the port. This is also in my opinion the turning point, because this is the first large event the colonists did to rebel against the British and this caused the intolerable act which was the last straw for the colonists and was the final reason the colonists needed for the revolution. -
This is the colonists punishment for after the Boston Tea Party the acts made it so the Boston port was closed. -
It marked a momentous time after multiple years of tension building up the war had finally started the colonists against the British .A war for freedom or tyranny. -
this was an attempt to stop the revolution from continuing it.
