The king declares all of Boston to be in open rebellion. He also wanted Bostons main patriot leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock to be arrested for Treason. The king also wanted all of the patriots weapons destroyed.

Three riders one of which was named Paul Revere, a silversmith was told to ride through Massachuets to warn everybody that the redcoats were coming. He warned all the minute men and they were ready for the redcoats attack.

The minute men were awating the red coats arrival. When the red coats arrived the minute men had the element of suprise. The battle of lexington and concord occured and it was a very bloodly battle. Many soldiers died and it was un-expected.

The declaration of Independence was signed and ready to go. They presented it to the congress. Everybody was very nervous about what would happen next.
