British Parliment repeals the Stamp Act on the Colonies. This repeal was triggered by the Colonists that boycotted the use of British goods. -
Declatory Act
This Act declared that the laws set in place by British Parliment also applied to the Colonies. -
Townshend Acts
These acts were imposed to increase revenue in the colonies by placing taxes on the imports of glass, paint, lead, paper, and tea. -
Boston Massacre
A street fight in Boston where Colonists were thowing snowballs, sticks, and stones at British soldiers resulting in the colonists to be fired upon. -
Commitees of Corespondence
The Virginia House of Burgesses proposed that each of the Colonies should have their own Commitee for corespondece between the Colonies. -
Tea Act
This Act was placed by Britian to import tea diretly from the failing East India Company to sell 18 million pounds of unsold tea. However this was unfavorable in the Colonies because the Townshend Acts were still in place. -
Boston Tea Party
This was a protest by the Sons of Liberty where they dressed up as Native Americans and dumped a whole shipment of tea into the Boston Harbor in protest of the Tea Act. -
Intolerable Acts
An Act passed by British Parliment to punnish the colonists for the Boston Tea Party. -
1st Continental Congress
A meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies that was held im response to the passing of the Intolerable Acts. -

The first military engagement of the Revolutionary War. I was fought between British soldiers who were on an amush to destroy militia supplies and the local colonial militia. -
