    The French and Indian war was the finial colonial war. It was in Europe, India and North America. In Europe, Sweden , Austria, and France, their job was to crush Fredrick the Great, king of Prussia. The English and French fought for the colonial domination in North America. This was a part of the incubation stage because it started to lead up a process to the revolution.

  • The Albany Congress

    The main idea of the Albany Congress was to try to secure the support the Iroquois in fighting the French, and was to form a colonial alliance depending on a design by Benjamin Franklin.
  • The sugar act

    The Sugar Act was an act that took down the tax on molasses but also added taxes on sugar, certain wines, coffee, pimiento, cambric and printed calico.
  • Stamp Act

    Parliament attempted to assert governmental authority to the colonies.
  • Intoloerable Acts

    The Quartering Act is an example of an intolerable act in the Incubation stage. It was established on March, 24, 1765. This is where the colonists had to house and feed the British troops that were sent to Boston by the King and if the colonists didn’t want to house and feed the British they would get shot.
  • The New World enriches the King

    The King was Getting all of the of the profits from the trade and left nearly nothing for all of the colonists.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Some officials wouldnt return 3 shiploads of taxed to to Britian and then some colonists boarded the ships and threw the tea into the Boston Harbor. This was part of the symptomatic stage.
  • Surrender of Yorktown

    After the French surprised the British and fleeted at the mouth of the Chesapeake forcing the British navy to retreat to New York, as they left General Cornwallis stranded, which gave him no choice but to surrender. This was a part of the Crisis stage.
  • Recovery of the American Revolution

    Life and the government become "stable" and some peace is made with neighbooring countries.
  • Changes in cultural

    Overall there wasn’t much change in the British culture. The biggest changes were just mainly the rulers. Slavery continued, women didn’t have rights still. Economically they were stil pretty dependent on Great Britain.
