The king that was in england at the time of the French and Indian war was King George the 3rd. King George the 3rd was winning the war when he became king. Britain was losing the war until 1757 William Pitt joined the the army and became a commander. -
The Boston Tea Party
Colonists didn't like the tax's on tea. Tax's in the colonies started because the king did not want to pay for the French and Indian war, so he taxed the colonies so they payed for the war. But the colonies did not like this, on the night of 16th of December,1758. The colonists dressed up as mohawk Indians and boarded the ship illegally. And then dumped all 342 boxes of tea into the bay. -
Boston Massacre
In 1759, people in boston was teasing the british soldiers by throwing snow at them. Then a soldier shot a colonist. This was called the boston massacre, 6 people were killed. -
