    The Boston Massacre started when colonist started shouting out slurs at the redcoats. Then the colonists were throwing things probably snow balls. Then some shouted fire and the redcoats shot. It killed 5 people. One of them was Crispus Attucks.

    The colonisssts dressed up as mohawk indians and raided the british ships and dumped their tea into the harbor. The dumped about 90,000 pounds of tea into the harbor.
  • Battle of Concord and Lexington

    Battle of Concord and Lexington
    Paul Revere was warning people on horses that the british were coming. When the British were going to get to Concord the minutemen were there ready to fight. The British ended up winning these two battles. No one knows who fired the first shot in this war.

    This congress served as an emrergency government durring the Revolutionar War. There were delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies. Some of the people that were there were John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson

    This battle was on of the bloodiest battles of the war. 1,150 British soldiers were either killed or wounded. 450 American soldiers were either killed or wounded. The Americans were said to have won the battle, but over recent years it has been lifted.

    The Declaration of Independence was signed on this day and presented to congress. Durring the signing it was really quiet.

    They crossed the Delaware River and then attacked the Hessians. The Americans occupied the houses and shot the Hessians from there. Then the Hessians retreated and the Americans won that battle.

    The Americans decided to return back to Trenton and the British were coming from Princeton. The weather was wet and muddy and the British were trying to force the Americans backwards so they would retreat, so the British could claim more land. The Americans wouldn't move back and ended up defeating the British in this battle.

    This fort was originally the French. Then the Americans captured it later. The British then won the battle and forced the Americans to retreat.The fort was now back in British power.

    The battle of York town
    The Americans and the French beat the british in York Town and forced them to surrender. The British then signed the treaty of peace. The Americans finnally knew they were independent for Britain.
