For the colonists taxes, th king tried to quartr British soilders into other colonists houses

Stamp Act

No Taxation Without Representation, the king refused to heed their warning and started an extra tax on stamps.

Townshend Acts

After the repulsion of the Stamp Act, the king decided to try and be sneaky and includethe tax in the price. The colonists are now very [excuse my french] pissed off and start rebelling

Boston massacre

Thanks to the continuous taxing, the colonists start going to war for their freedom and break away from Britain. This is one of the great wars between Britain and the colonists. A native american Crispus Attuks was killed first

Boston Tea Party

The king tried to tax the colonists for tea again, so when the ship reached the harbor they dressed up as native americans and tossed the tea into the water.

Intollerable Acts

After the Boston Tea party the king has increased the previous taxes and closed the Boston harbor. This lead to the first continental congress.

Battle of lexington and concord

The British were trying to take the colonists firearms, but before they could, Paul Revere and two other people warned the colonists the British were coming.
