    The Navigation Acts were laws passed by England to maintain control over colonial trade. The acts made colonists buy English goods and limited trade between the colonies and other countries

    The document that ended the war between the British and the French that was fought over the Ohio River Valley. This treaty ended French power in North America and expanded British territory

    The colonists were made about this because they couldn't go West of Appalachian Mountains. This kinda good for them because they continue fighting.

    This time they lowered the price of the Sugar Act from 6 pence to 3 pence.

    colonists were smuggling goods, so they won't have to pay the British they're money .
  • Stamp Act

    The British Weren't making enough money so the passed the stamp Act so that it would effect everyone and not just the Merchants.
  • Quartering Act

    The British want to make sure the colonists are doing what they are supposed to do by sending 10,000 troops to the colonies.
  • Stamp act congress

    the colonies protested the stamp act and they had Newspapers take up they're cries they say "NO Taxation without representation!"
  • Declaratory Act

    The British take back the stamp Act and replace it with another one a year later.
  • Townshend Act

    They tax things as soon as something gets to the colonies and so the colonists have to pay for things and they won't know they were taxed. but they were wrong because the colonists found out and so they boycotted even more.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston massacre wasn't really a massacre it was more like homo side but in the eyes of the colonists was a massacre.

    The British taxed the colonists by taxing the tea and so the colonists became mad.

    The Boston tea happened because the British taxed the colonists.

The Coercive Acts were a series of four acts established by the British government.

    This time the colonists that were fighting the British were requesting more men to fight the British and the Germans helping.

    the colonists in the first battle lost but they retreated and then they attacked the British while they were going back to Boston.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    the battle was Technical a win but was loss because the British forced the colonists out of Bunker Hill
  • Olive Branch Petition

    this was a Petition to see if they can still have peace and not war with Britain but the King said no
  • Common Sense

    the people in the colonies weren't using common sense as much as the British.
  • Declaration of Independence

    the Declaration of Independence was thing that the colonists came up with after the war.
