This was part of the seven years war where England tried to kick France out of the new world. The French were outnumbered so they had to rely on the Natives, who thought the french were not as bad as the English. The french and the natives had had some good train relations in the past.

The British sent troops into Boston to enforce the taxes, and the People did not like it. On march 5th some people through snowballs and rocks at the soldiers, who then fired back killing a couple colonists.
