    The purchae of Alaska affected history because on March 30, 1867, the United States reached an agreement to purchase Alaska from Russia for a price of $7.2 million. The Treaty with Russia was negotiated and signed. So basically it made us agree with Russia and get along. But i think it turned out that in the treaty they never really mentioned the name of Alaska so it might have caused problems further in history.

They worked on basic military drills, protocol, and habits involving conduct, obedience and etiquette.
