    The Black Plague

    The Black Plague
The Balck Plague hit Europe in between 1348 and 1350. The exact date was not sure so I had to put in January 1. The plague was brought into Europe by fleas who hitchhiked on rats from other parts of the world. The fleas got to Europe from the trading boats that carried rats. The disease spreaded quickley because of a lack of sanitation. Because of this, there were positive effects for people who survived. The people who survived had a lot of foods and had jobs because the population had shrunk.

    Michelangelo Buonarotti- The Sistine Chapel

     Michelangelo Buonarotti- The Sistine Chapel
Micheleangelo painted about 1000 sq feet of the celling of the Sistine Chapel between 1508 and 15012. One of his greatest achivements in the Sistine chapel is The Last Judgement. This picture, I believe, shows people going to Heaven or hell. Also in this picture, there is a picture of the human skin being held up by a man that is on a cloud on the right side the the picture. It is said by art historians that it was a self portrait that Michelangelo had drawn of himself.
