  Purpose- To direct trade between England and the colonies.
 Outcome- Smuggling became more common.

 Outcome- Colonits felt that it violated their rights as English citizens.

  Purpose- To set up government in Quebec and give them land west of Appalachian Mountians and North of the Ohio River.
 Outcome- Colonists called this an Intolerable Act, because it was Intolerable.
