Agatha Christie, the famous novelist was born in Devon, England on the 15th September 1890.

From 1920 until 1975 she wrote novels and short stories the most famous of which being those starring Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

On the 3rd December 1926 she leaves her house after a quarrel with her husband and is found 11 days later at a hotel in Harrogate claiming to have lost her memory and having no recollection of the previous 10 days!
