The main charater in this story was Camilla.The setting as set in Camilla's house,and at Camilla's school.The conflict that Camilla had to face is that she didn't want to be herself,so she had a bad case of the "stripes". -
Rising action
It is the first day of school,and Camilla is very stressed about finding something to wear.She looks in the mirror and sees the most terrifying thing..She is covered in stripes!She screams,and when her mother rushes in,she screams too!
Her mother calls the doctor,Dr. Bumble,and when he comes to check up on her,he says it is the most peculiar thing,and asks Camilla if she is feeling sick in any way.She says she feels fine,so Dr. Bumble thinks it is okay for her to go to school the next day. -
Climax
Yikes!Camilla has to go to school on the second day of school,and she seems to really stand out in the crowd...
Everyone is making fun of her!All the name calling is really hurting her feelings,which is exactly rhe opposite of what she wanted!Even during the Pldge of Alliegence,her skin turned to stars and stripes!Everyone pointed and laughed.When she got home,the principal called,and said that Camilla had to stay home until her stripes were gone,because parents were calling concerned that... -
Climax (continued) 3
It seemed everyone knew about Camilla's stripes after that.News reporters would show up at her door,and people claiming that they could cure her stripes.A woman,some type of therapist,claims she can cure Camilla,but just turns Camilla into her room!
As everything seems to fail,and just get worse,an old woman shows up at the door... -
Climax (continued) 2
Camilla's stripes were contagious,and that her stripes were a distraction to her peers.
Camilla did not seem pleased,so her father asked if he could do anything to make her feel better.She wish she could say she wanted some lima beans,but she had decided she had looked crazy enough today.
Again,Dr. Bumble took a look at her,but brought the specialists with him.They seemed so spooked,and then they said the names of certain diaseases,and Camilla instantly looked like them.With this,Dr.Bumble left. -
Falling action
The old woman came up to Camilla and said that it was a very bad case of the stripes.She said there was a cure for the stripes...
Lima beans.Camilla said that she hated lima beans,like everyone else.The old woman said that she thought Camilla was different,and started to walk out the door.Camilla asked her to wait and that she really did love lima beans,and she would eat them.The old woman smiled and said that she knew she was different,and then gave Camilla a bunch of lima beans,and then... -
Resolution
Camilla returned to normal!
Then Camilla was able to go to school,and love lima beans.But even though some people thought she was strange,she still was herself.
