    DA Hogan Architects retained to consult on playfield improvements

    S&A Facility Fee Committee allocates funds for design costs of playfield improvements

    S&A Facility Fee Committee allocates funds to complete topographic survey and complete construction documents for Valley Road and Grimes playfields. The Committee also sets aside an additional $550,000 towards the contruction costs of the project.

    It is determined that the current bidding climate could be used to gain a favorable cost in the next year. It is also determined the student funding for construction is ncessary to proceed with the project.

    Construction began on Grimes Way and Valley Road playfields.

    Grimes Playfield is anticipated to open for use on October 10, 2010.

    Valley Road Playfield is anticipated to open for use on January 11, 2011.
