    On this day the stamp act was created by British government. This was a tax placed on all printed items such as stamps and diplomas. This tax was different from the rest because it was added to the price so this was unseen. This angered the colonists.This violated their liberty because this taxed them without their consent.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    This act was created by British government for British troops. This act made colonist house and feed british troops against the colonists will. This went against the right to own property.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    On this day, British government raised taxes on tea shipped to america. This made colonists mad because they often drank tea. This violated liberty because tey were taxed against their will.
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    This was when Britain thought their laws we're superior to ours. They made it so their laws came before ours. This meant they thought they were better. This violated their liberty because they were no longer equal with Britain.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    This is when colonists dressed up as Native Americans and dumped tea of British ships into the harbor. This proved that colonists meant buisness and did not want to be messed with. This was getting back for violating liberty because they were taxed without consent.
