    Proclamation Act
    The Proclamation Act was an act that kept the colonists from invading the Native American lands to keep from starting unessecery wars with the Natives. The colonists felt that this was unfair becuase there right to property was being taken away.
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    This act made it so that all laws created by Great Britian were superior to those made by the colonists. This upset the colonists becuase this meant that parlament could make laws without them knowing about it. Also, if colonists made laws, there laws could be cancled out by laws made in parlament. This event took away the colonists right to liberty.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boson Massacre was an event where five colonists were killed after rioting against the british soldiers. Tension was built up in the colonies becuase of the amount of british soldiers staying in the colonies. The tension eventually erupted into a brawl between the british soldiers and the colonists.The British then used there muskets, and killed five colonists. This event showed how the british took away the colonists right to live.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party is an event where colonists dressed as Mohawk Indians poured 45 tons of tea into the Boston Harbor becuase the king put a tax on tea. Becuase of this, the King closed the harbor. This upset the colonists, and they felt that this was unfair. They claimed that the King violated their rights. This helped lead to Declaration of Independence. This event took away the colonists right to liberty.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    The Quartering act was an act passed that ensured that Britain Soldiers had a place to stay when they were in the colonies. The colonists didn't like this act becuase they were forced to open their home to strangers who were enforcing laws that they had no say over. This event is significant becuase the colonists felt that there rights were being taken away from them by being forced to house soldiers. This event took away the colonists rigth to property.
