This focus will be throughout the whole year. Unable to scope when I will get the opportunity to observe any inquiry lessons or learn more about this from teachers. I will add to this throughout the year.

These 4 weeks are a focus on using dialogue when teaching maths.
- Observe maths lessons in each area of the school - at least one whole class lesson, one group, learning conversations, and learners working collaboratively.
- Search literature linked with dialogue in maths - do they link with observations? What else can literature tell me?
- Collect artefacts - lesson plans, relevant photos, notes
- Interview teachers - discuss their thoughts on promoting dialogue when teaching maths -
Talk about progress. Ask to be pointed in any particular area or person that may help. Is there a school 'Maths teacher'?

- Observe shared writing lessons in each area of the school
- Observe any kinds of writing in a class - how teacher uses dialogue
- Search literature linked with dialogue in writing - do they link with observations? What else can literature tell me?
- Collect artefacts - lesson plans, relevant photos, notes
- Interview teachers - discuss what they do to promote dialogue for writing, is it encouraged? -
Discuss writing focus. Make plans to observe in different classes. Ask to be pointed to any particular resource.
