    Columbus discovered a island in the Caribean. A bit later after landing many people who inhabitated this island met with columbus and his crew they gave them many gifts.
  • Jamestown Colony created

    Jamestown is the first English Settlement in North America. Jamestown the original site didn't have any facilities for huge crowds. John Smith is the founder of Jamestown.
  • Plymouth Colony Created

    The Plymouth Colony was founded by pilgrims. The Pilgrims created their first home in an empty Indian village where the inhabitants had been wiped out by an out break of diseases that were passed onto them from the white men.
  • New Amsterdam becomes New York

    For less then its life New Amsterdam had atleast less then nine-hundred residents, but its influence would be a better degree then its size. New Amsterdam had over 18 languages and cultures. The Dutch city was never more then 50% Dutch in the population. From the little mix of people would come the structure of New York.

    The seven years war also know as The French and Indian war.The rivalry for the West, mostly for the valley of the upper Ohio. The French were the first ones to act moving south of Canada and finding two forts.
  • George Washington assaults Fort Duquesne

    The French were first ones to act, moving South from Canada and founding two forts. Dinwiddie, the governor of Virginia, sent young George Washington to protest against this. The English built a fort there but they had been kicked out by the French, they built Fort Duquesne in the 1750s. Dinwiddie, after trying to get help from other colonies. Sent out the young Washington out once more. He defeated the French of the small fort. Washington began building Fort Necessity.
  • Albany Congress meets

    To see before hand of this new rendition of old conflict, the least likely crowd of people were called for the congress of American representatives to meet. They'd meet from June 19 - July 11, 1754. This unexpected crowd of people were Royal Governors.Franklin discussed many of the problems that would beset the government created after independence, such as finance, dealing with the Indian tribes, ect.
