Columbus left spain
Columbus departed Spain looking for riches and spices in India. He sailed with 3 ships maned Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. -
Colony of jamestown settled
People from the Virgina Company sailed to the new world to settle Jamestown. The settelement did not go well the first year as many colonists died from starvation and from Native attacks. John Smith and Pocahontas are famous historical figures asscoiated with Jamestown. -
Plymouth colony was setteld
Piligrims sailed over on the Mayflower and setteled at plymouth seeking religous freedom. Important events in plymouth include thecreation of the Mayflower compact the first thanksgiving and peace with the native americans. -

The French and Indian war was a war over territory in North America. The british won the warand decided to tax the Colonists to help pay for the war. Which started to cause the Revolutionary war. -

The Quartering act was when british soliders came to your house asking for shelter of food. If the colonits did not agree they were punished by being putt on display and thrown food at. So when the colonists won the war and wrote The bill of rights the made sure to add no cruel or strange punishment. And the british soliders were not allowed to enter colonists home. -
Boston Massacre
5 britsih men were shot and one even killed. This event took place during the Revolutionary war. This was a small battle that helped lead up to bigger battels. Some have thought that the colonists only had rocks and the british soliders had guns and other weapons. IT was a small battle. -
Boston Tea party
American colonists dressed up as native americans attempting to board a british ship and throw lots of tea out into the sea. The reasonfro this was because the british were taxing there tea and those who paid for it got nothing out of it. They ened up throwing 342 chests of tea over board. This upset the british. They sent british soliders and attaked them,. -
Paul revere and his ride.
Paul heard word from a friend that 200 british soliders were riding to concord to arrest John handcock. Paul Revere thought everyone had to know the british were coming and wanted to ride from lexington to concord. He rode halfway threw when he was stopped by bristish soliders and was taken prisoner. His friend william Dawes made the trip and warned Jhon handcock. -

The shots geard around the world were the frist shots that were fored starting the revolutionary war. No one knows who actually shot frist. So the firerer of the gun is the person who started the whole revolutionary war. Jeese that guyhas no sense. But yeah that is how it got started. -
