They pool their clues, and Judge Ford discovers that Sandy is Sam Westing (178) . Crow is the answer to the Westing game (178). Judge Ford tries to confront Sandy, but he dies (179-80). Crow is arrested after she announces that she is the answer to the Westing game. -

Turtle publicly confesses to the bombs, and she gets her hair cut off because it was singed by the fourth bomb (156-163). Doug Hoo wins the mile run (163). Sandy gets fired (163). -

Everyone returns to the Westing house for Round 2 (165-8). They all give their answers, but upon arriving at the library they find that the answers are all incorrect. -
