The troopers wanted to become a true revolutionary taking place of the German Army.These troopers posed a great risk to century old German military traditions and were know for their gangster like behaviors such as, extorting local stores, drunkeness, beatings of civilians and even murder. This is significant because the SA were like Hitlers hitmen. Violent, squashing political opponents.

Hitler the cruel man he was, used this to his advantage as him and the Nazis had ample time to capatalize on his demise. By using the presidents death, Hitler used the oppertunity to seize total power over Germany. This is significant because as soon as the president died, Hitler became Fuhrer of Germany all so known as absolute leader. He wasted no time in setting new laws.

    On this date in time the Nuremberg race laws took the citizenship of German Jews referring to them as subjects in Hitlers Reich. It also forbid Jews to marry Aryans or have the as helpers. Aryan is a white blue eyed young German. This caused great debate on what a full Jew was. This started the deprivement of Human rights to Jews.

    For the second time the Nazis invade Belgium in May of 1940. This was part of Hitlers offensive move west. Despite some help from the British, Belgium was just outnumbered and outgunned from the begining. After relizing his army was depleated and even a retreat was no longer an option, the Belgian king sends word for a cease fire. Which was denied. Germany then offers a unconditionally surrender, which is quickly taken.
