    The Proclomation of 1763
The Proclomation of 1763 didn't allow the Colonists to settle on Indian lands west of the Appalachian Mountains. The British made this act because they still wanted to control the colonists. Also, the British didn't want to be on bad terms with the Native Americans because that would mean the Natives fighting the Colonists, which ment the Natives fighting the British. The British didn't want to fight with them because they didn't want to spend anymore money on the war.

    The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was an action where the Colonists dressed up as Mohawk Indians, boarded 3 ships and dumped 45 tons of tea into the Boston Harbor. The Tea Act was the main reason that this had happened because even though the Tea Act lowered taxes, the Colonists didn't want to be controlled by Britian anymore. The Colonists thought their right to liberty was broken because they weren't aloud to make their own choices because Britain was making them for them.
  • The Intolerable Acts

    The Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were basically made to punish Boston for The Boston Tea Party. The consequences for this action included: closing Boston Harbor to all trade, having the tea that was dumped being paid for and putting restrictions on the Mass. government. The British were ignoring everything the Colonist said and made thier own rules. The British also told the troops to occupy the colony.
