Bicycle First Envented
In 1817 Baron Drais created the first bicycle also known as the "Walking Machine". He used the machine to get around the royal gardens faster. The frame of the machine was made of wood. -

In !870 the first completely metal bike came out and with a bigger wheel in the front than in the back. The problem with this desighn tho was that if the bike was stopped by a rock or a whole in the road the rider would fall to his face with his legs still under the stiring wheel. -

The next design was a return to the original configuration of two same-size wheels, only now, instead of just one wheel circumference for every pedal turn, you could, through the gear ratios, have a speed the same as the huge high-wheel. And went back to the original design -
