The Hardy boys get hazed by a group of boys and are tricked into that they are in real danger of getting hit by a train but its all fun and games for the school boys but Frank and Joe see it differently -

Frank and Joe go to the head leader of the group of boys and try to find who hazed them and why but they got no information only a invitation to join the group -
More investigating of Morgan Todd's room
Frank and Joe find a quiz exam and it has clues that say rockaway. The boys have no idea what this means but they will do more investigating -
The Hardy Brothers go to the Palis Paris
Frank and Joe go shopping to by there aunt a spinning wheel from this store well they brake it and have to pay for it and the owners aren't to happy about them with actions so they demand them to leave. -
The Hardy's head home after their time spent at the Palis Paris
They explain to there mother what happened at the store and prepare to go to Rockaway tomorrow with Chet and Biff for a camping trip in the caves there -
The One last trip to The College
The gang goes and looks for more clues before heading to Rockaway. But as there leaving Chet and Biff get attacked by Cadmus Quill and must pull over because of car problems. -
Stock Up
The day when everything is not so crazy the boys head to Rockaway and Stock up a genral store and here a story about mysteries things going on in the cave but decide to go anyway -
Camping Time
The boys explore the cave and find a nice place to sleep. -
Stolen equipment
That night Joe woke up to someone snooping around there camp site and trying to get away with it and Joe wakes everyone up and they chase after the thief but he gets away because of there being so many tunnels in the cave -
Exploring the caves
The boys the next day look for clues to find where the thief may have gone but no use they found nothing except a new not loaded gun because there are too many channels of caves in the caves. On there way out they found a man. He's names Commander Wilson a x Navy officer and he takes them to his house for food. He lives in the cave. The boys get ready to eat but then he flips on them saying he doesn't know them and makes them leave and shoots Frank in the back with a shot gun loaded with flower. -

Frank and Joe go to the police and look up Commander Wilson and find nothing -
Something fishy is happening with the Palis Paris
The Hardy Brothers get a few girls to apply for jobs at the palis paris to try to find out whats going on there. -
Getting jumped to exploding metal detectors
When the girls leave the Palis Paris and head to there car they find Biff in pain he was beat up and Chets metal detector is stolen from the trunk of the car. They call Joe and Frank they come to the rescue and confront the owner of the palis paris and find there stolen metal detector -
Explode
While driving Chets examing his beloved metal detector and its starts to beep. Frank sees it as a bomb and tosses it out of the car in the nic of time and no one was hurt -

A message was received in the mail for the Hardy brothers. It read "Get the Hardys of the Case or there lives are in danger" -
By Sea
The boys head to Honeycomb caves in Rockaway by sea so they won't get spotted. But almost do by a huge spot light on the cliff of the caves. The spotlight spots a submarine and the boys follow it to discover a smuggling in good and they follow to see more but get trapped by Cadmus Quill and held at gun point until there father the famous detective Fenton Hardy arrives with the authorities and captures the bad guys and they find Morgan Todd in the submarine as a prisoner.
