  • Tennis for Two

    simulates a game of tennis, or ping pong on an oscilloscope.
  • Magnavox Odyssey

  • Atari Pong

    An old Arcade machine, really well known. created by atari.
  • Atari Video Pinball

    only 3 play typrd - Pinball, Basketball and Breakout.
    was a pretty simple system with no game insertion, jsut straight built in games ready to play.
  • Vectrex

    'Brings real Arcade home'
    Vectrex excited the market in early 1984, even though it was bought out in 1982, at the time it was a mere $199, smalled then a real standing up arcade machine but it ought the game into the house.
    unlike other earlier arcade machine which plugged into the TV, it included its own monitor to display its own game.

    i had one of these myself when i was young passed down from my cousins, it had one game already built in, if u had no other game cartridges to plug in, but if you put a game cartridge in then it would play the other game obviously, it was very basic with a D pad and two buttons. the games were very basic but had legendary games such as Sonic, and Alex Kidd
  • Sony Playstation

    the first of the so far 3 series playstation, the controllers now startin to get a little more complicated, with 4 buttons on the right easily distinguished by colour and shape, and the left side 4 buttons, up right left down and of course the top buttons, L1, L2, R1 and R2, later they bring in the litle analog sticks.
  • Nintendo 64

    released June 23 1996 in Japan but March 1 1997 in europe and australia.
    was released with two games, Super mario 64 and Pilotwings 64.
    sold around 33 million units world wide, was an amazing console, had one ymself.
  • Dreamcast

    The Dreamcast was released first in Japan in November 1998, they always seem to get it earlier then England/Europe.
    Sega sold 500,000 colsoles in the first week!
  • Sony Playstation 2

    Lots of Delays on this console, still one of the leading colsoles today it is sitll amazing and can run the older PS1 games from the previous consoles, people were that desperate for a Playstation 2 when they came out that they were even buying them for 5x the retail price on sites like Ebay.
  • World of Warcraft

    World of Warcraft is a massive MMORPG which basically meens multiplayer online roleplaying game, where you can go online with your friends, do quests gain levels and kill big monsters and fight friends/opponants etc, created by Blizzard Entertainment. with more then 11.5 million subscribers paying around £8.50 per month they're doing very well. the console for WoW is jsut a PC, to play the game fully you will need a good computer though, with atleast 16GB harddrive and 512 mb RAM.

    Microsofts' Xbox 360 release.
  • Nintendo Wii

    Wireless get up and play technology with things like Wii fit, which requires you to get up and play, with the remate which you strap to your hand and point at the TV, and play things like golf.. Boxing and many more.
