Effect: They were granted land west of the Delaware River. The capital being Philadelphia. -
Indentured Servants
Cause: People who didnt have enough money to pay for their trip to the colonies would serve one for a number of years until their due is paid off.
Effect: Many had towork on the tobbaco fields and recieved longer service terms for attempted escape. -
Freedom dues
Cause: Indentured servants eligibility to get on their feet.
Effect: Helped the indentured servants start farms and maybe travel west and risk getting attacked by the indians. -
Glorious Revoulution
Cause: Colonists in Massachusetts, New York, and Maryland rise up against the colonial governments of King James II.
Effect: The appointment of governers was needed to extend the control of the monarchys colonies. -
Salem Witch Trials
Cause: Women in the forest dancing and singing disobeying the puritan religion.
Effect: Many innocent people were found guilty and hung for their sin of witchcraft. -

Cause: It was developed by John Rolfe and gave virginia colonists merchantable commodity.
Effect: The exhaustion of the soil created pressures for further expansion into indian territory. -
