    Summary: Women wanted the right to vote. They couldn’t only the men could. They wanted there voice to be heard and they wanted to vote. They fought for there right and got it.

    Where: Mostly women in Sweden and some in the U.S. Western States.
    Why: Because women wanted as much right as the men had and they wanted the right to vote.

    Summary: They called him Mr. Civil rights he was one of the most feared but known lawyers.

    -What: He was the first African American to sit in the highest court

    -Where: Baltimore
    -Why: “My commitments have always been to justice for all people, regardless of race, creed, or color”. He wanted to make the world like he thought it should be.

    Summary: He was a great speaker and he wanted equal rights he thought that everyone should be equal and he made it happen.

    -Where: Memphis, Tennessee
    -Why: They killed him because they didn’t want the blacks to have equal rights like them and they thought that he talked to much when he was saying the truth.

    Summary: It was a time period when food and water and other things were very scarce.

    -What: The Great Depression
    -When: Through 1929 to early 1940’s
    -Where: The United States
    -Why: Because prices went up and soon no one was buying the Stock Market and they had nothing to do so they had to drop them and that’s the Great Depression started.
