Color TV introduced
On june 25 1951 The fist colored commercial was aired for four cites on CBS. The commericail was only seen by few since not many people owned a color televeison until the 1960s. The first RCA sets costed 995$ which was enough to buy a car, but soon after many companys stopped making color televison until more and more commerical and movies started playing in color then the RCA sets came back which led to tv companys wanting to improve the way soceity watches televison. -

The first video game was introduced on october 16th 1958 called Tennis for two.The game was conrolled by two controllers that were conected to an analog computer an a oscilloscope was used for the screen. Mt. St. Helns eurpts
On May 18th 1980 the eurption of Mt. St. helen was named the worst volcanic disaster in U.S history. The 40,000 year old volcano is located southern of washington and 50 miles northwest of portland oregon. The euroption was caused by an earthquake the occrued under Mt. St. Helen which caused a roch avalanched that traveld 70-150 MPH and was a 600 F, the avalanch lasted nine hours and destroyed everything within 200 miles including 7,000 big game animals and 57 lifes, -
Killing spree at Colubine High
On april 20th 1999 Dylan Klebold and eric harrs, two boys from comumbine high went on a killing spree, The boys opend fire and planted bombs at the highschool and planned on killing hundreds but failed due to bomb failulier. The two boys murderd 1 teacher and 12 students before killing themselves. This was such a shock to the people because it was the first mass murder in U.S history.
