    The British Government made colonists have British stamp on every document. This was a way o tax the people to raise money after the French and Indian War. This enraged the Colonists because they felt it was unjustified.

    This was a series of Acts that taxed the colonists.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    This was Patriot street brawl and rebellion against the British leadership. this was significant because it helped unite the colonists against the British.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The Sons of Liberty led a rebellion where the poured pounds and pounds of tea that belonged to the British East India Company into the Boston harbor. They did this to show that they wouldn’t accept taxation without representation and to rally people throughout the colonies.
