The Mayflower
In September 16,1620 , a merchant ship called the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth a port on the southern coast of England. Also that is where the Pilgrims set sail to meet the Natives. -
The Celebration Feast
The Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians gathered to give thanks for what they had. Also the food that they ate was the plants and crops they grew. -
When Delaware became it's own Colony
The Dutch people were who first settled Delaware. The original were killed because of a disagreement by local Indians. -
Maryland was founded
Maryland got it's name from King Charles the 1st wife. It was already starting to be explored by John Cabot. -
NYC was founded
NYC was first explored by Henry Hudson in 1609, but founded in 1664. New Amsterdam was formed by the core of Manhattan. -
King Charles giving land to William Penn
King Charles gave land to William Penn which is now Pennsylvania. He did this because he owed land to Williams father. -
When Gorgia was established
It was established in 1732. This mde it the last of he 13 British colonies. -
French and Indian War
the French and Indian War lasted seven years. a lot of people died. It began in 1754 and ended in 1763. -
The Boston Tea Party
On the night of 10/16/1773 Samuel Adams and sons of liberty boarded a ship and threw a lot of tea overboard. It was 342 chested of tea. -
The Treaty of Paris.
It was signed by the representatives of Spain and the United States in Paris. The Treaty was concluding the Spanish-American War.
