  • Virginia

    Virginia, the first colony out of 12 others. Virginia was founded by the London Company in 1607. Virginia was mainly used for money making, and was also a port and a trading center.
  • Massachusetts

    Massachusetts, the first colony founded by the Pilgrims. They came here and made the colony to get away from England and their church. They were the first and I think the only colony to use democracy.
  • Mayflower

    The Mayflower voyage where about 100 people traveled to Plymouth Rock and started a colony now called Massachusetts. There they created a well known holiday called Thanksgiving.
  • Georgia

    Georgia was made a colony because a noble guy named James Oglethorpe asked for land and got some land. He wanted the land because he wanted people to start a new life after time in jail. Also to make a military force to defend from Spanish.

    The causing of the Boston massacre was when someone threw a snowball at a soldier. Then the soldiers shot at the colonist. In the end all of those soldiers who shot had the letter M on their finger.

    The Boston Tea Party was caused by the over taxation of tea and other stuff the colonists needed in their daily lives. It was also caused by the Boston Massacre.
