Anthony owns a slave. This is important to diminishinig progress because it shows that anthony has something in this case its a slave. In the picture anthony is the guy on the right his slave is on the left. -
Act III
Blacks Can no longer own slaves. Act 3 stated that africans can no longer have slaves or servants. Africans were angry about this because the free africans can't have slaves and that means they have to do all the work on thier farms themselves. -
Act VIII
Runaway Slaves Can be killed.This act made africans think twice before escaping. Escaped slaves could be killed by their masters. -
Act XXII
Blacks can't hold office.This act stated that blacks can't have a leadership positon in the government.They probably made this law to keep afrIcans from getting seats in the government.
