Then with the help of Athena Odysseus, the swineherd, the cowherd, and Telemachus defeat the over 100 suitors. Soon after Odysseus reunites with his wife Penelope who after not recognizing him and making him angry realizes that he is Odysseus and they live happly ever after.

Odysseus starts by staying with the swineherd and then reunites with his son Telemachus. Odysseus (dressed like a beggar), Telemachus, the swinherd, the cowherd all go to Odysseus' house. There the suitors are having a competition to see who will become married to Penelope (Odysseus' wife). The competition was that whoever could shoot Odysseus' hunting bow through 12 axe head holes. Odysseus enters the contest and won.

Odysseus and his men have to travel past the Sirens where the men have wax in their ears and Odysseus was teid to the mast of the ship. Then they had to go through Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is a sea moster that has six heads which will eat six men everytime it comes by. And Charybdis is a whirlpool. Odysseus and some of his men get through this alive but shortly after his men eat Helios' cattle. That causes Zeus to send down a thunderbolt and kill the rest of Odysseus' men.

Half of Odysseus men go up to Circe's house. There she tricks them with her joyfullness and food which had poison in it. It then turned them into pigs.

While trapped in the cave of the Cyclops six of Odysseus' men are eaten by the Cyclops. On the third night in the cave Odysseus tricks the Cyclops by getting him drunk on wine, then saying his name is Nohbdy, and finally he and his men light a spear on fire and sit it in the Cyclop's eye. They then escape by hiding under sheep.

Odysseus' boat lands on the land of Lotus Eaters. When he sent out men to see what race lived there the men fell in love with Lotus Eaters. They then procceded to eat Lotus which made them forget about their homeland.

War lasted 10 years and was finally won when the greeks tricked the Trojans by hiding in a wooden horse. Once the horse was brought in they popped out and surprised the Trojans thanks to Odysseus.
