The french and britian were fighting for soil on the Ohio river valley. Also in 1763 Britian and France made a peace treaty. -

The colonists had to pay taxes on all printed paper. The colonists protested until it was repealed. -

The colonists had to take care of british soldiers. They didn't want to but the king said that they were protecting them. The colonists had to take them into their home. -

The outbreak of the revolution he went back home to his home of virginia and he led militiain defense of virginia gunpowder store. In 1764 he moved to Louisa county, Virginia where he was a lawyer and argued in defense of voting rights. -
The Boston Massacre
After the little battle in the streets John Adams made sure other colonies heard about it. Also later the soldiers were guilty of manslaughter. -
Boston Tea Party
The colonists threw thousands of loose tea into the harbor. They did this because they were only aloud to buy tea from one company which is the British East Indian company. -
Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death"
he is telling the people to not be afraid to speak out against Britian about freedom. He is also guilty of doing that himself. Also that we are showing the redcoats that we are afraid so they would stand up for themselves. -
The rides of Paul Revere
One night Paul Revere went riding telling the colonists that the British are coming and they should be prepared. -
Minutemen and redcoats clash at lexington and concord, the shot heard around the world.
The first battle at Lexington symbolized that a revolution was going to begin. Samuel Adams took the advantageof the battle because of the bloodshed to make propaganda. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
During the big fight the British lost about 1,054 soldiers. They won the hill though (the British). The colonists misunderstood the instructions that the captain told them and went to Breeds hill instead of Bunker Hill.
