    Still in our government. It gave us the ideas that everyone has the rights of trial by jury and due proccess of law. It also gave us the idea of protecting everyone's life, liberty and property.

    Mayflower Compact
    Was made withput the help of England. Showed that colonists could set up their own government. Showed a little bit of freedom of religion for the first time.

    Petition of Rights
    Helped start the English Civil War. Influenced some of the United States' constitution. It influenced the Third Ammendment where soliers may sleep in private residences.

    After a while it began to irritate merchants. In turn they began to hate England. It made the colonists become a little bit more self dependent

    Sets up rules about the King and Parliament to control power. It also gives citizens the right to bear arms while protesting. It tries to make the English society a little bit more equal.

    Reduced the amount of French occupation in North America. Gave the colonists more land, but it stopped colonists from buying private Native American land.

    Brought more tax to the colonists and made it harder for the colonies to make money. All of this enraged the colonists into more hatred against England.

    Group of delegates that organized the Revolution. They pushed hard towards independence, as well as they came up with the Declaration of Independence. Also, they put into effect the Articles of Confederation.

    It declared that the colonies were separated from England. Influenced many other declations of independence. Gave citizens many new rights. Ultimately what seperated the United States from England.
