On July 7th, 1937, there was a engagement between Japanese and Chinese troops in the outskirts of Beijing called the Marco Plo Bridge near peking. The engagement led to a undeclared war. later on a war broke out between the two over the minor engagement. This led to the Second Sino-Japanese War. It also left China in poverty.

This pact was known as the German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact, and it was a pact between Germany and the Soviet Union that was made a few days before WWII. The terms were that the countries were not to attack each other and no military action against each other other the next 10 years. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were two Japanese cities that America dropped the first atomic bomb on. Before America dropped these bombs, they warned the people by dropping warning from planes. The first atomic bomb hit Hiroshima, but after that Japan didn’t surrender so America dropped the second bomb on August 14th.
