    Hitler declares himslef Führer of Germany. Significant because now Germany is in control of a leader that want to expand in Germany.

    Rhineland Taken Over
    Hitler's army takes over Rhineland. Now Germany can invade France directly throught the borders of Rhineland.
  • The Spanish Civil War

    The Spanish Civil War
    Civil war breaks out in Spain between the Nationalists and Communists. Hitler decides to help the Nationalist Party out and sends in his troops and weaponaries. Spain becomes Germany's ally which lets Germany to be closer to Italy.

    The nations involved in the Munich Conference agreed to let Hitler take Czechoslavakia's Sudetenland, but Germany would stop expanding after they took it. However, this appeasement failed and it only encouraged Hitler to expand, taking over Czechoslavakia.

    Germany invades Britain, and Britain is constantly bombed. Significant because it was the first time the British were actually in danger of losing their country.

    Hitler gives up taking over Britain due to them wasting their time and resource for a pretty long time. Significant because it made Hitler turn his eyes towards the Eastern Europe, and ultimately Soviet Russia.

    Hitler has to send a troop of tanks with Gerneral Rommel to save Musssolini from driven back from North Africa by the British. Significant because Hitler had to split his troops to help Italy.

    Operation Barbarossa comes in place, which is to invade Soviet Russia, leading to Germany controlling most of the Europe. Significant because now the two major powers clash.

    Leningrad remains sieged by the Germans until 1942. Near a million civillians die of starvation during this time. Significant because Hitler has captured one of the most populated and industrialized city of Russia, but the siege is ineffective to Stalin.

    Hitler and his army gets very close to Moscow. However, they're driven back by the Soviets' resistance and the extreme cold. Hitler's generals try to retreat, but Hitler enforces them not to. Nazi Germany lost millions of men here. Significant because not only did Germany lose lots of its men, but its army is split in many parts.

First, Paper Violence downgraded the Jewish people into humans that were "not humans". They were treated like animals and such. After anti-semitism was deeply rooted in the German people's mind, Hitler made the Jews to move out of their home and forced them into Ghettos, where it was hard to live.     An year long battle between Russia and Germany. Despite huge casualties, Russia gained victory, and allowed them to push Germany towards the west.

    This was the battle between Rommel and the Allies which ended with Rommel having to retreat. This battle was significant because Rommel's army was starting to lose power in North Africa.

    American forces land on Morocco, and crushes Rommel's control of North Africa. Significant because now Germany lost power in North Africa, and Italy is vulnerable to invasions.

    The British and American forces land on Sicily and capture it. After taking over Italy, Mussolini loses his power and Italy surrenders. This invasion is significant because it allowed the Allies to attack Germany from the South and Germany lost the support of Italy.

    The Allied forces landed on Normandy, France, to start the invasion into Germany. The battle ended with Allies' victory, and forced the German to retreat. This battle was significant because now the Allies could push there way into France and then invade Germany itself.

    This battle was located in Philippines where the Leyete Gulf was. Due to this war, Japan lost most of its powers and the war began to show its end.

    This was the Battle in the Ardennes in which Hitler tried his last push to separate the Allied forces. However, it failed, and the battle was significant because it turnded the tide of the war, and it became apparent that Germany had lost the war.

    The Allies kept moving up towards Japan, and had their last "true" battle at Okinawa. Japan lost over 100,000 troops while Americans suffered less than the Japanese. This battle was significant because the Americans were very close to Japan.

    It was the very first time a country used a nuclear weapon against another country, and its effect was devastating to the Japanese citizens. Thousands of innocent people died. This event was significant because it warned the people of other nations to fear the nuclear weapon, and not to use it later on.

    This nuclear bomb was dropped only 3 days after Hiroshima was bombed because Japan still did not surrender. This bomb was the last nuclear bomb U.S. had, and they had to boast that they had more stored that were ready to be launched. Japan finally surrendered after they lost more than 100,000 people, and this event was significa because now the war in Asia ended, leaving Hitler alone.
