Japanese Invasion of China
Japan wanted the vast resourses that China had to offer. Japan invaded Peking,China on July 9, 1937. Their were 930000 men from Japan fighting against China in 1937. The Japanese used armoured car with machine guns on them in the invasion of China. Also the ki 48 bomber plane was used against the Chinese forces. The effect of the invasion was Japan taking control of of Northern China.

Operation Barbarossa
This was the code name for the invasion of Russia. Three milloin troops were sent to invaded Russia. The reason russia was invaded was because hitler was more land to control. The effect of this invasion was German forces having to turn back and return home because it was the middle of winter and they were not equiped with winter clothes.

Pearl Harbor
Hundreds of Japanese planes attacked Pearl Habor just after 8:00 AM, the attack was two hours long. Japan thought that the U.S. was going to attack them first for the invasion of China. The effect of the attack of Pearl Harbor was more then 300 airplanes destroyed and 20 ships also destroyed. Over 2000 soldiers died from this attack.

Bataan Death March

A group of highly ranked Nazi officials meet at this house to talk oabou the final solution, which was to get rid of all the jews in Europe. This event happened because Hitler was wanting to rid Europe of all Jews. The effect of this meeting was the making of ghettos, consentration, and death camps.

Japanese Internment
President FDR sign the executive order 9066, which put 120000 Japanese Americans into 10 internment camps. This happended because Japan had just attacked Pearl Harbor and the president didnt know if there were and Japanese forces in America. The effect of the camps led to many angury Americans, way later on the Japnese Americans were compensated for being in these camps. Ended Dec. 17th 1944. Many scientist were brought together to create and atomic bomb to end the war. Ther was alot of workers hired to work in the making of the bomb. THis battle was between the USSR and Nazi forces, USSR was defending there land at the battle of Stalingrad.There were over 2 million deaths in this battle alone. A bomb was dropped in Hiroshima was equal to 15 tons of TNT. This happended because America was still at war with Japan.
