Germany had invaded the Soviet Union in an attempt to enslave the Slavic population and to kill all of the Jews. Weren’t prepared for the assault on the Soviet Union and had failed operation Barbarossa. -

Japanese Kamikazes attacked Pearl Harbor and American naval base stationed by Hawaii. Diplomatic relationships going bad with Japan. America joined the war. -

Nazi officials met to discuss the final solution to the Jewish question. Hitler ordered it. Concentration camps were made for the Jewish population. -
Bataan Death March
The island Luzon surrendered. Remaining Troops defending island were forced to march to a prison camp. 75,000 people were murdered. -

Soviets successfully defended Stalingrad. Stopped Germany from advancing any further into soviet territory. Germany invaded Russia. -

British Bomber raid by Night Gomorrah while the US Bomb by day Blitz week. Brittian wanted the tables to turn on Germany for the deaths of Civilians. 30,000 deaths and 280,000 buildings lost in Germany. -

Allied forces wanted to take back Normandy. Invaded Normandy and took it back. Stopped Hitler from sending troops to the soviet front and had a physiological blow on Nazi Germany. -

Hitler ordered a major counteroffensive on the allied force and used the Blitz Krieg to split their forces. Most expenses in the war. Hitler was desperate. -

The final battle before the invasion of Japanese mainland. 120,000 Japanese died and 12,500 Americans died. Allowed the invasion of Japan. It was the last island the U.S. need to invade. -
