German Blitzkrieg
The germans used the Blitzkrieg to force surrender and cover more ground quicker. It is a series of fast movements using tanks, planes, and artillery. President Harry S. Truemen said not to attack or invade Japan because there would be huge American casulties. So he gave orders to use the new weapon and drop it on the city Hiroshima. THis then made the war end faster like the President wanted. -
VJ Day
This was when the whole world had news of the war ending. there was celabrations all over the world. The president named it VJ Day.
