    Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bombings
    August 6, 1945 is the day that the U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb on a Japanese city known as Hiroshima. Japan still not surrendering made it clear that the U.S. needed to do more damage, and then Three days later the U.S. drops the second atomic bomb in Nagasaki. They wiped out 90% of these cities and then Japan then realized that they do need to surrender before the U.S. drops another bomb.
