They composed the idea that if they expand their problems will be solved. they declared war on china .they first invaded Manchuria because they were rich in resources that they needed. as a result the Soviet union declared war on Japan.

    During the Sino-Japanese War, Nanking, the capital of China, falls to Japanese forces, and the Chinese government flees to Hankow, further inland along the Yangtze River.the general ordered the city be destroyed . The city was mostly burned and many civilians were massacred. Over 20000 women of all ages were raped and killed.     Operation Barabrossa was the largest military attack of ww2. With all the captive lands and slave labor, Germany had power from slave labor and captive lands to keep advancing in Europe. Everything that could help Germany win was used. Germany rounded up 3.8 million soldiers from all ranks of the axis power. Japan declared war on China in 1937, America responded wuth trade embargoes, without goods such as oil, Japan would have to put their expansion goals on hold. After the attack, the U.S declared war on Japan.

Britain had something in return for Germany.The evening of July 24th, Britain dropped 2,300 tons of explosives on Hamburg. 30,000 people died and 280,000 buildings were destroyed. A deception campaign was designed to mislead the Germans from the real attack. The operation liberated western Europe from Germanys control.
