Assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand
Arch Duke Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were assassinated by Gavrilo Princip in Sarajevo. He was killed while touring Sarajevo with low security first a man named Nedjelko Cabrinovic through a bomb into there limousine but it rolled off and wounded a couple of bystanders and cop. While continuing there trip they took a wrong turn and Gavrilo Princip took his opportunity to kill them both at point blank range. -
WW1
WW1 begins when Russia mobilizes there army to help Serbia which compels the other European powers to mobilize there army. Which inevitably leads to violence between the countries. All of the European powers are now in a war with each other and there alliances. -
Germans Fire
Germans fire chlorine gas at allied powers. WW1 has officially began the Germans are destroying. -
First Tanks
The British deploy the first tanks used in battle and are overwhelming to say the least. They are used at Delville wood. -

President Wilson describes his war plan to congress in hopes of getting involved. Doesn't work U.S stays neutral for now. -

Congress approves declaration to go to war with Germany on the side of Britain and France. -

German sign peace treaty with the new Bolshevik government . and Germany is given the area that was Poland and Ukraine -

The peace treaty is signed ending western battle.
