Italy originally sided with the Central Powers. They were part of a triple alliance with Germany and Austria hungry but I did not enter the way because their alliance was supposed to be defensive, but Germany and Austria Hungary had to be offensive and declared war. -
April 6th 1917
American join World War I on April 6, 1917 this was because of German submarine had some to British passenger ship, Lusitania, they killed 1195 passengers. 128 of those were American citizens and the people were outraged- putting pressure on the US government to declare war. The president, Woodrow Wilson, wanted a peaceful and put the Germans announced that they would think any shifts that approached Britain. This was when President Wilson entered the war to help restore peace to Europe. -

Chemical Weapons
Chemical weapons were first used in WWI using poison gas was considered a war crime, but teargas wasn’t considered to be a conflict by the troops. the Germans were the first to use a little gases when they used a chlorine gas attack. later they also develop and use the most effective gas at the first world war mustard gas. the British were shocked of the German use of poison gas but develop their own gas warfare to retaliate. -
German Citizen 1918
In 1918 the German citizens against writing of demonstrating against the war. The people were starving and the economy was collapsing because British navy boats for blocking all the German ports. This lead to the people protesting to try and in the war. -
