    On December 7,1941 lots of Japanese fighter planes attacked the American naval near Honolulu,Hawaii. Many American soldiers and sailors died in the attack and 1,000 were wounded. This was actually a surprise attack but Japan And The U.S. had been bumping heads for ages.

    Japanese began in 1931 with the invasion of Manchuria. Then continued in 1937 with a harsh attack on China.

    During the Japanese war Nanking falls to Japanese forces. To break the spirit of Chinese resistence , someone ordered that the city of Nanking be destroyed. Much city was burned and Japanese launched. It became known as " Rape of Nanking". The Japanese butchered 150,000 male "war prisoners" & raped 20,000 women & girls of all ages. They were all killed in the process. It cause the Foreign nations to protest the actions of the Japanese troops & It caused the Communist Party of China to gain.

    On November 9,1938 " Kristallnacht " nazis in Germany torched synagogues. It vandalized Jewish homes, school , and buisness. Also, killed 100 jews, Jewish men were sent to concentration camps. Kristallnacht conditions got worse.
