When Mussolini was thrown out of office the new government decided to surrender to the U.S. and Britain. As Italy tried to ally with Britain and the U.S. Hitler freed Mussolini and put him in charge of Northern Italy causing alliances to be put of pause.

German forces in Italy surrender and two days later the German forces in north west Germany, Holland and Denmark surrender. Then, on the seventh an unconditional surrender from Admiral Donitz finishes the surrender of Germany.

When Truman was warned about the atomic bomb he decided to take action and become the first to finish it and the use it. The result was the death of around 150,000 people.

When the first drop of the atomic bomb was not successful in getting Japan to surrender Truman dropped a second one. The result, around 75,000 more people killed.

After two atomic bombs Japan surrendered. This caused the ending of World War Two. However, the end of one war is the start of a new one.
