    Hitler wanted to take his enemies by surprise and defeat them quickly, he came up with a new military strategy known as Blitzkrieg. Germany invades Poland and quickly defeated them. The Soviet Union also invaded Poland and the Baltic nations shortly after. This was the breakout of war in Europe.

Germany bombed London for 76 nights straight, some of the bombings did not land on the intended target and ended up killing 430 civilians and injuring 1600.     In the final stages of war, the Soviet Union soliders were the first ones to liberate the Concentration camps. They entered Aushwitz and found hundreds of sick and starving prisoners in the camp.     This battle began when the United States marine corps landed on the Island of Iwo Jima, and captured it from the Japanese Imperial Army.
