Japan wanted to expand its control over East Asia, In order to have an area for its citizens to live in. Japan was running out of run for its people, as well as reasources and other needed materials. When japan's military went through Asia, They had little to no stragle at all. So taking control of East Asia was very quick and easy for the Japanese military. -

Pearl Harbor attack

Four Battleships, Three cruisers, and three Destroyers and Anti-aircraft training ships were sunk. In total, 2,402 Americans were killed during the attack. -
