  • Germany's Anschluss with Austria

    Germany annexs Austria in 1938. There had been much pressure to annex Austria for years because of the fact that there was much support from Austrians.

  • The Munich Pact

    It was signed by Germany,Italy,France,and Great Britain.It allowed Germany to annex Sudetenland.

  • Hitler's Annexation of Czechoslovakia

    Hitler wanted the Sudeten Germans under his rule. He met with British, Italian, and French leaders to agree on terms of the annex.

  • Germany's Annexation of the Sudetenland

    It was annexed in 1938. It was one of the largest pro-Nazi places in Europe.

  • Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact

    Hitler was afraid of another two front war as in World War 1 so he made this pact. This pact made Germany and Russia neutral to each other and share Poland.

    The invasion was also known as the September Campaign. Many Polish Jews left the country in fear.

  • The Phony War

    It was a brief period after Britain's declaration of war on Germany. It characterized by no battles and very little military movement.

  • The Fall of France

    It was Germany's invasion of France and the Low Countries. It ended the Phony War.

  • The Miracle at Dunkirk

    Soliders were evacuated from France into Britain. Over 300,00 soliders were saved from almost certain death

  • The Battle of Britain

    It was the German air attacks on Britain. The Germans bombed everything from naval ships to schools.
